The Maintenance Clerk reports to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager who has primary responsibility for the repair and upkeep of the company’s facility and production equipment. The goal is to ensure the company facility and equipment is maintained reliability and in good condition to produce quality products.

The ideal candidate will support the Maintenance Department and 3rd party contractor by:

  • Utilizing their SAP knowledge for budget tracking purchasing, reports and tracking of project expenditures.
  • Timely ordering of indirect materials to support the maintaining of the equipment for stock, projects and emergency.
  • Handling the approved vendor list and additions
  • Understanding of inventory of store room parts by levels based off usage, costs, and vendor storage. Maintain inventory on all high usage parts.
  • Owner of the KPIs for inventory of parts, costs/expenditures for parts and shipments,
  • Performs clerical/administrative work as needed
  • Works independently, under general direction only
  • Maintains the Capital Expenditure Reports for future, current and completed projects per the HB Fuller record keeping policies
  • Owner of the Parts area processes (checking out, in, replenishment, assignment to the equipment records BOM in the CMMS) to insure there is adequate parts inventory at the most efficient costing level to keep the production optimal


  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of administrative experience within H.B. Fuller or 5+ years administrative experience outside of H.B. Fuller
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suites, knowledge of CMMS (MP2) and Project Management software would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of the SAP Purchasing functions, ordering and storeroom management
  • Good organizational skills, knowledge of 5S
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, efficient work skills to complete tasks on time within a tight schedule window


  • Experience working in the maintenance and engineering area
  • Contractor management experience for invoicing, ordering and scheduling
  • Strong organizational skills
