Location: 1 NW Briarcliff Road

Full-time position available with Water Services Water Supply Treatment Division located at 1 NW Briarcliff Road. Salary Range: 3,957-$6,636/month. Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Gathers and interpret relevant data (historical performance, back log, costs, productivity, rotating and fixed asset historical deterioration trends, aging reports, etc.).Use statistical techniques, interprets findings from data, identifies trends and significant deviations, and recommends corrective action. Analyzes deficiencies in areas such as equipment performance, materiel consumption, scheduling, management, and resources; their impact on the maintenance mission; and results of corrective actions. Reports findings to managers with recommendations. Informs managers of significant factors affecting the mission. Maintain and create new, as needed, documentation for all standard operating procedures and safety process. Work with various divisions to ensure accurate and timely processing of data. Run PeopleSoft / Hansen queries and other reports to analyze data and make recommendations. Develop functional guidance for Hansen. Train staff on Hansen, other software skills and continuous improvement concepts and principles such as LEAN, 5S, 6 Sigma, Kaizen and others. Performs operational analyses of complex programs and major problems associated with maintenance in water supply & treatment rotating and fixed assets. Analyzes business processes through the use of fact-finding and makes recommendations. Develop presentation for quarterly meetings, track KPIs, create weekly, monthly and annual reports for three utilities and provide data for annual budget exercise. 

REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in public or business administration, economics, accounting, finance or a related field; OR an accredited Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, economics, accounting, finance or a related field and 1 year of professional experience in public or business administration, corporate or municipal finance, budget, research, accounting or a related field.  Preference given to applicants who have Master's in, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statics, Economics or other related field related to the utility business. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing continuous improvement projects and/or experience in Industrial system maintenance, capital expenditure and continuous improvement or Experience with SSRS reporting, understanding of various statistical software/tools or CMMS such as Hansen; Certificate in Continuous improvement tools and methodologies such as LEAN, 5S, Kaizen, or Certified Maintenance & Reliability (CMRT) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) certification.
