Mead Johnson Nutrition is currently seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for establishing Reliability Strategy and providing leadership necessary to gain alignment required for successful implementation. Expanding the existing site Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Program, utilizing internal and/or external resources as appropriate. Providing expertise to resolve complex equipment and operational problems while providing the hands-on support required to launch and sustain reliability initiatives.
Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining Maintenance/Reliability Metrics and Scorecard, launching training programs for key reliability tools (RCA, PdM, FMEA, etc) and effectively working cross functionally to achieve best performance of company assets while continually providing leadership and support to direct report employees.
The successful candidate will work in conjunction with other Mead Johnson Nutrition sites to develop/implement processes to share Maintenance Best Practices (PMs, etc.), as well as establishing an engineering and maintenance assessment process to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Requirements:
· BS Degree in technical field; Engineering preferred.
· 8 or more years experience in Engineering roles responsible for improving equipment reliability
· Background in high-speed packaging equipment desired.
· Knowledgeable in Maintenance & Reliability techniques and technologies, including: RCM, TPM, PM Optimization, and predictive maintenance technologies
· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, including expertise in the use of formal problem solving techniques (RCA, fault tree analysis, etc.)
· Proven track record in leading cross-functional, multi-site initiatives
· Superior communications, leadership and influencing skills
· Experience in food, nutritional, or pharmaceutical industries a bonus
