Holcim (US) Inc has an immediate opening for a results-oriented, experienced Reliability Engineer to be located at its Greenfield plant being constructed in Bloomsdale, MO (Ste. Genevieve County). The Ste Genevieve plant will be the world’s largest single line kiln in the world producing 12,000 tons/day.

During the design, construction, and commissioning phases of the Greenfield plant project this Reliability Engineer’s primary responsibility is to design reliability systems for a new plant start-up and creating, implementing, and monitoring reliability based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis and condition monitoring. The Reliability Engineer will participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines and bills of materials for new equipment prior to commissioning and work closely with the Project Team, equipment suppliers, plant staff and Process Area Teams to ensure successful commissioning of the plant.
Specific responsibilities with on-going plant operations include management of the preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography) to ensure optimum equipment availability; preventative maintenance work order system with coordinated execution of the area operations and central maintenance teams; analysis and elimination of repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA and similar techniques; and facilitation of continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
Demonstrated experience in heavy industrial maintenance (3-5 years or more) you will support, demonstrate, and facilitate the concepts of development and involvement of employees, continuous learning and continuous improvement in a values based high performance organization. Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical people, adaptable to change while taking an innovative approach towards problem solving and ability to follow up on critical assignments and monitor information to ensure data integrity lead drive success.
